Established in 2003, Darwin Event Group has a legacy of development, growth and happy customers. Starting as the only Nova Scotian owned and operated full-service trade show contractor, Darwin Event Group provides a full range of rentals and services for trade shows, conventions, and corporate events. We’ve developed the intuition to know the needs of events, conference and show organizers and their clients through hundreds of rental contracts spanning government, industry, private business and personal functions. Our own events have connected us to the Outdoor, Home & Renovation, Craft & Maker and other networked communities. We are not just the promoter of the largest consumer trade show in Atlantic Canada (the Atlantic Outdoor Sports and RV Show) but have other events featuring unique niches such as culinary, beverage, entertainment – many of which are outdoor, ticketed events. Under our Maritime Tents division started in 2013, we are proud to rent premier quality professional and custom tents of all sizes to festivals, events, weddings, concerts and private parties.
When the event world slowed down during Covid, Darwin Event Group was busy expanding.
Even though we have worked hard to diversify into several streams of event rentals and business, Darwin Event Group is the place to start to get the information for your event. With our beginnings as a humble, family-based business, Darwin Event Group now has the inventory and team large enough to tackle your big event but small enough to still answer the phone, remember your name and the time to share a laugh.

A lot has changed over the four years. I've gone from working 3 days a week (approx 15-18 hours per week) to working 5 days a week (approx 30 hours per week), due to the purchase of new companies. I have been given more responsibility over the years in terms of ordering office supplies and cleaning supplies for the warehouse crews. Just generally making sure everyone has what they need to be successful in their respective roles in the company.
