It’s hard to believe the Christmas season is already upon us. Like many of you we are looking forward to spending time with family and friends.
2022 was our biggest year on record! However, managing the transition and growth while implementing best practices from two acquisitions in the last 14 months proved very challenging.
Reflecting on the past 12 months, Natalie and I recall time after time when we accomplished the near impossible. Our staff regularly go above and beyond and we sincerely appreciate everyone’s efforts delivering exceptional customer service everyday.
As the Christmas season approaches, we want to thank you for your support and business this past year. Our wish for you is that 2023 be a year full of joy and prosperity for you and your family.

The event world and tent rental industry are constantly changing and evolving which brings along new opportunities for our business. We look forward to taking on new challenges and seizing new opportunities in the future with the continued support and satisfaction of our customers and business partners.
Together, I hope that we will continue to advance Darwin Event Group and Maritime Tents in all communities and create strong business ties with both operations and beyond.
The staff this year worked extremely well together and provided excellent service while balancing out both Darwin Event Group jobs and Maritime Tents jobs in the same week. The staff will continue to accept any task in front of them and will welcome the new challenges in making the event or occasion a special one for our clients.
Now operating out of New Brunswick, we can share that same experience in two provinces.

As a newcomer to Canada moving from a different part of the world with my family was such a big life event for me. It was like everything had to be started from scratch and it felt like this would be an uphill struggle for a very long time till things get sorted but I’m glad to say this was not the case. I joined Darwin Event Group in August this year as Operations & Sales Manager for the New Brunswick division, and I was welcomed to an environment which felt as if I have been here all my life amongst people I’ve known forever.
All of this was only possible because of the amazing people that I interacted with through my journey so far and so I would like to thank them starting with our amazing clients, our venues, our suppliers and mostly our team who accepted and treated me as a part of the family. I look forward to creating, delivering and being a part of amazing events in the future.

It was amazing to be welcomed back to the world of events by Darwin Event Group, all of the fabulous businesses we work with and our loyal public this year!
A busy 2022 was spent supporting the first trade show back in Nova Scotia after Covid (the Atlantic Outdoor Sports and RV Show) and all other Darwin shows with social media and marketing, creating a sell-out of our first Home Show in our local area – the Kentville Home Show, assisting with the rental side of conferences and events in 2 provinces and bringing The South Shore Expo to a new venue in Bridgewater for 2023. My role as Account and Sales Manager is now for 3 shows: The Atlantic Outdoor Sports and RV Show, The South Shore Expo and the Kentville Home Show.
I am looking forward to bringing inspiration, new ideas and even more excitement this upcoming year to all of our events. Have a wonderful holiday season and see you at our shows!
